I maintain my BT Broadband as the VM broad band is good when it is good and rubbish when it's not good.
At the moment it is not good. Every time it rains my broadband drops out regularly and I'm guessing it is the road side cabinet at the junction of Elmbridge Lane and Howards Road in Woking that has remained broken and unrepaired for a couple of years. The end of the cabinet remains wide open on many occasions suffering from ingress of rain and the odd vandalism.
I'm beginning to wonder why I actually stick with VM as the status checker tells me I have no problems and there is no easy way to report issues like this . Running on BT again at the moment as it rained overnight
Any one have any contacts they can refer me to or pass this on to?

Hi Jerrez,
The Forum Team seldom check the natter section of the forums.
You can report damaged/faulty street equipment via
https://www.virginmedia.com/help/reportingdamage
https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Digital-life/How-to-report-damage-to-street-equipment
or telephone 0330 333 0444
It might be a good idea to create a post in the broadband forums too as the performance may not just be related to rainfall.
There are a lot of tech guru's on that forum that can look into your issues but when posting the hub stats they need the full details from the Router Status page. So please copy/paste 3 FULL sets of data onto there (not screenshots) – from the Downstream, Upstream, & Network Logs pages.
You should also set up a BQM monitor at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you can post the link straight away.
Instructions for posting BQM Link
Under your BQM graph are two links in red.
Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.
Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.
On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)
In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK.
