Can I swop virgin router for a faster one.

Can I swop my virgin router for a faster one of my own or do I have to keep the virgin one and do they have a router that has a 6ghz speed.

You put the HUB into what's called modem mode, meaning all it does is provide an internet connection to one ethernet wired device, in this case it would be a third party router or mesh system.

Any device that has a 'WAN' port should be compatible with a HUB in modem mode.

VM do have a WiFi 6 hub, the Hub5, but you cannot just ask for one, you are supplied with the appropriate hub for the speed of your subscription.

None of the VM Hubs offer 6GHz Wi-Fi band, you can install a router or access point to add 6GHz Wi-Fi ability. Surprisingly few consumer devices support or require 6GHz Wi-Fi.
