I have one cable coming into my property which then was split into another room as we have TV in two rooms. we no longer use these TVs so I disconnected the cables. at the moment the outside cable comes inside and connect to a tris1002AEN and then the cable plugs into the adaptor and then into theu router.is this correct. Also I have a 6 DB filter that was come the other cable I think is this needed

Re: Cable connection to router

What speeds are you getting and do you have any problem? If you do have a problem VM should get a tech round to replace the splitter with a barrel connector and check signal levels with and without the 6 dB attenuator.
