Make sure that you are using the settings passcode not the WiFi password. This is printed on the label on the base of the Hub

And turn off Caps-Lock.  The Hub is case sensitive !!

Hello, I have definitely been using the settings passcode but it isn't working.

Do a pinhole reset of the hub for a good 30 seconds. Connect to the hub with an Ethernet cable, type 192.168.0.1 into your browser, hit enter and type the settings password into the password box. In my case the password is an 8-digit number.

What does a pinhole reset do? Does it completely swipe the whole HUB connection settings?

It restores the hub to factory settings.

Does that mean I then have to manually put all my settings back in again to get the Internet working and do I then need to reconnect every device in the house?

What settings are you referring to? In the vast majority of cases you just leave the DHCP server to dish out IP addresses.

The pinhole reset will return the Hub back to the state it was when you received it from VM.

If you have made any changes to the setup, for example added firewall rules, port forwarding or changing/splitting the SSID and passwords, these will all be lost and will need to be re-added.

However, the vast majority of user never even log onto the Hub and just use them "out of the box" and a reset will not affect them in any way.
