virgin tv go 'sign in currently not possible, please check back soon'

This problem persists for the past 4-5 months. Despite repeated attempts, its not working

Tried to contact technical support multiple times but no response.

Any information or help regarding this issue/problem?

Can I please ask the following 

What device are you using

Have you tried another device 

Are you using same details you log in to your online account with

Hi Gareth_L,

 

I tried Sony android phone, Windows 10 tablet, Windows 10 desktop. I used the TV Go app and well as both Chrome and firefox browser. The same error. I last probably used in May or June 2020. It never worked after that

Thanks for coming back to us with that information, I am sorry if its still an ongoing issue.

Can I just ask these basic questions please - 

  • Have you reinstalled the app on your devices?
  • Are you using the service within the UK?
  • Are you able to login to your online account with no issues?

Thanks. 

I have re-installed multiple times in three different computers. Tried to access through browsers as well

It is used in U.K

I can login into virgin media account without any problems

Thanks for coming back to me with that information, I will need to raise an IT ticket for this issue, but I'll need to gather this information first. I may be asking you to reiterate some info but just so I don't miss anything please pop it down again for me -

Can you tell me about your Device information -

  • Phone/tablet model
  • Phone/tablet OS and version
     

Can you tell me more about your Browser information -

  • Browser name and version
  • Laptop OS

Streaming incident information -

  • Are you having issues streaming a particular channel? Or is it all channels?
  • What is the error message that you get?
  • Please tell me if you're using the App on 3G/4G or WiFi

I am not able to login at all.
