Why is the web player garbage?

Exactly as the question says. I have no TV in my home office so when I'm working and want to have some noise in the background, I like to use the WM web player. Now, my PC isn't exactly low-spec - i5 with 16 GB Memory, more than enough for streaming and I have no problem with any streaming service web player. But the VM web player. Man alive...the framerate watching anything, it looks like it's down to about 15fps, playing everything in SD. It also causes my computer to severely slow down. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the web player that you are experiencing. 😞
May I ask if you've been able to reboot your broadband connection and see if this issue continues? It could be a connection interference causing this issue.

Does this issue also happen on any other device as well?
