I was using the sky sports app to watch super Sunday on my iPad earlier. 

I was watching on full screen in landscape but there was a blue bar at the top which said live Renault super Sunday. I cannot get rid of this bar and it's slightly annoying and spoiling my viewing experience. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? I have tried to find an option to remove it but can't

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community. 

I'm sorry to see that the channel/programme bar was showing while you were watching in full screen mode. We have tried to replicate this but are not getting the same issue. Please come back with the following: 

• Do you usually get this on any other channels/programmes? 
• Is this the first time it's happened?
• Please check your iPad is running the latest software update and also that the Sky Sports app is up to date too. 
• Also do you have this issue on other devices?

Pop back and let us know so we can look in to this further for you.

Hi Kath. Thanks for your reply. It has happened twice when I've been watching super Sunday. I think it's because that particular programme provides in game stats?

This has always been an issue. Mostly when live games are on for the ‘in game’ features.
