Watch BT Sport on different smart TV

I have BT Sport in my Virgin TV package. I am going on holiday shortly and want to watch some live football on the smart TV where I am staying.

Can anyone please tell me if this is possible, and if it is, how I go about getting signed in on other TVs? Thanks.

Hello spsbaker, thanks for posting on our help forum today and a warm welcome to our community.

We'd be happy to assist you with this query, please visit this page here where you can download our TV Go App and use it on a portable device (phone, laptop etc) so you're able to watch your favourite BT Sports events on the move 🙂

You may view all information on how to use the TV Go App and TV services while away on this page as well.
We would not be able to advise if this will work on a Smart TV as only devices with Android or iOs have the ability to get this app, however you can do this on a different device such as mobile handset or tablet.
Please, let us know if this helps.

Thanks for the advice Adri_G. I have managed to access most tv channels in my package (have to login to BBC channels separately) via the browser (Chrome) on my laptop, which means I won't miss anything when not at home in the future.

However, I am currently investigating whether I can download the app onto a Samsung smart TV. I will let you know how I get on.

Didn't manage to download the app onto a Samsung TV.

However, I did manage to use the browser on the TV to register the device (as I did on my laptop) so that I could watch everything in my Virgin TV package on a Samsung tv. It's a bit clunky to navigate the pages on the browser, but the tv programmes are streamed seamlessly.

Of course, an alternative is to connect my laptop to the tv and view it that way. This has also been perfect viewing so far.

Thanks for the update @spspbaker

Glad to hear you have managed to get that sorted 🙂

If you need help with anything else, just give us a shout.

Have a great day!
