I’ve tried everything to connect to my v.6 but I always get the below appearing. I’ve reset TiVo box, changed to always power on, deleted app and reinstalled. All to no avail. Any help much appreciated.

Is your V6 switched on, or at least not using Eco power-saving?
And your device connected to the same router/network as the V6?

Yes v6 on and ensured power wise it’s always on..

Is your device connected to the same router/network as the V6?
Can your V6 use OnDemand services ok?
Have you tried restarting it?
I can use v6 fine to record / play etc using remote. What I can’t do is use tv app to set v6 to record / watch recorded programmes.
And sorry yes everything on same router /WiFi.
and yes have restarted everything. Reinstalled app.
