Re: Virgin TV go crashes

Have same problem just after I updated my Google pixel 3a to Android 10. The app crushes without even opening and this is starting to be quite annoying. Don't see why I shall pay my 109£ bill and don't get the service that I am paying for!!

Re: Virgin TV go crashes

Hello jojo6969 & Akiradandy,

Welcome to our community forum page, it's great to have you both on board.

I'm sorry to hear that you're both experiencing problems with our TV Go app.

I've been in touch with our app support team to double check that our app supports Android 10.

Is your device running on Android 10 as well jojo6969?

Regards,

Dean C

Re: Virgin TV go crashes

Thanks jojo6969,

The app team have advised you're unable to use TV Go on Android 10 currently, the full roll out hasn't been completed, which is why you will be experiencing issues.

Soon as it's launched fully we'll update this thread.

Re: Virgin TV go crashes

Full roll out???? Please explain I own the pixel 3xl to get the latest and best software available it's not in beta so I expect your app to work it is the official and latest version of Android I have probably spent over 5 hours trying to sort this problem I'll expect a reduction in my monthly fees then not a good enough excuse!!!!

Re: Virgin TV go crashes

We are working on an update to the TV Go app so it is supported on Android 10.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused by this currently not being available, but we will have this updated as soon as possible.

Re: Virgin TV go crashes

Is there an update available for this yet.?

It's been more than a month without a reply to this thread.. and more than 8 weeks since the problem started.

Considering how much people are paying for their service, and how much money Virgin Media makes.. to leave customers without service for 8 weeks without even so much as an official acknowledgement of the problem is nothing short of disgraceful.

(yes, that's right.. VM customer services, tech support and retentions team are not even aware that this is a problem and are still telling people that the problem is with their device)

Honestly.. how difficult is it to update an app.?

Re: Virgin TV go crashes

Hello Nick-M,

Welcome to our community forum and thank you for you post.

I'm afraid that TV Go still isn't supported on Android 10.

As soon as it is available we will update this thread.

Regards,
