Re: Virgin TV Go

TV Go now needs iOS 11 or later. It won't work on iOS 10 or earlier.

Re: Virgin TV Go

My Virgin Go won't update but after reading a reply to the earlier query does it mean that I have to buy a new updated iPad as I have checked for the latest version of update on mine and says they are no new updates.  Disgruntled Virgin customer.

Re: Virgin TV Go

... so, is it Virgin Media or Apple who won’t allow you to upgrade your iPad to iOS 11 or later to allow access to the latest Virgin TV Go app?

Re: Virgin TV Go

It's on the iPad, I have checked for updates but says there are no new ones. When I go on virgin go, it says update, which takes you to the app store but no updates.

Re: Virgin TV Go

What I am saying is that you must have an old iPad that can’t be upgraded beyond iOS 10 and it is that, Apple, that are the reason you can’t have the latest Virgin TV Go app.

Which iPad do you have and which iOS is it running?

Re: Virgin TV Go

Checked and it is 7 years old

Model - MD514B/A - Think it is a iPad 4

IOS - 10.3.3 (14G60)

Only got 2.3 GB available - wondering would it help if deleted some apps that I don't use

Thanks for helping me

Re: Virgin TV Go

The issue is that your iPad doesn’t support iOS 11 so you can’t get the latest level of the Virgin TV Go app.

Re: Virgin TV Go

I also can't get Virgin Go because it is on an older iPad. No warnings, no nothing from this company. This is a disgrace and I fully intend to leave Virgin.
