Virgin TV Go sign in

I've had issues with my primary account for Virgin for years. It was sorted recently with revised primary account details being put in place.

I've never particularly used Virgin TV Go because of those issues. Now it's sorted I tried to sign in with the new credentials. It doesn't recognise them. (I'm using an up to date iOS on iPad.)

I've waited over 24 hours for any propagation across servers, and deleted/re-installed the app twice.

When I try to prompt for a username, the new email credential is there but TV Go won't accept the password. However I sign on successfully to the VirginMedia site with these same credentials.

Appreciate thoughts.
