Virgin TV GO Devices Duplication

HI,

The Virgin TV Go registers my laptop multiple times every time i login via the firefox browser and now I cannot watch any show in any browser as it says I have run out of devices and cannot make changes. In fact, I have not even made one change this month.

This is very frustrating.

Re: Virgin TV GO Devices Duplication

Hi arunav1305

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

Please refrain from multiple posts and threads about the same topic.

What browsers are you using on the laptop and do you also clear your cache/cookies each time you're finished using it?

Kind regards,

Re: Virgin TV GO Devices Duplication

Okay so when you're clearing the cache and cookies, please do not clear the TV Go ones from it. This will then make the browser realise it's not a new device set up each time.

Kind regards,

Re: Virgin TV GO Devices Duplication

Hi John,

Thanks.

Will keep that in mind. But what about the situation I am in?

Can we clear my device list?

Re: Virgin TV GO Devices Duplication

Hi,

I am facing the same issue again, even though cookies are turned on. In Chrome and Edge, when I login, it says, Something Went Wrong and as usual when i use firefox it is saying, you have to register your device, when it is the same device. When is this bug going to be fixed? The reason for using multiple browsers is, if it does not work in one browser, try in the other

Re: Virgin TV GO Devices Duplication

Hi Arunav1305,

Thanks for coming back to us about this issue with your TV GO device registration.

I am sorry this issue has cropped up again, I have gone ahead and reset your devices for you which should have rectified the multiple device issue.

Please reinstall the app if it still shows all devices.

Thanks,

Megan_L
