Welcome back to the community and thanks for your post about your TV control app issues.
I'm sorry that we have only just got to your post and to hear of the problems that you've been having.
Is your TV box connected to your hub and network correctly? As this could cause the problem if the box isn't connected to the network that the app is connected to.
What happens when you try to use the app at the moment, do you get any error messages when trying to record remotely?
