Virgin Go App not worked for months

Have been trying to log into the TV go app for months and always met with - Sorry - this isn’t available. Oops - the service isn’t available at the moment. Try again in a few minutes.

How does this be fixed? Have had issues trying to just get through to them on the phone. Terrible app, terrible wifi and terrible service.

Hello

What device are you trying to use the app on, iPhone, Android Phone, Windows 10 computer ?

Have you uninstalled the App and reinstalled it ?

If it is Windows 10 then then that app has now been closed down.

Thanks for the response Mike.

Have restarted devices, un-installed and installed again and even tried other devices. They all just come up with the same message. All iPhone/iPads running iOS 14

Is this still happening now? 

Does it happen just on the app or any browser as well? 

 

Does it happen as soon as you open the service or when you want to watch certain content?

Hi Emma,

This is on the iOS app when I try to sign in, it asks me when I go on the app to log in but says Oops the service isn’t available at the moment, try again - then I try going to a channel and signing in there but says same message. Tried on 3 different devices now for months.

Thanks. 

Can you confirm if all devices are Apple products? 

We are aware of an issue with the service on iPhone's and iPads which is being looked into. 

It would be interesting to know if you're getting the same error on any other devices at all? 

If not then I'm confident the team will have this sorted soon.

Yes just Apple devices. Will try and get hold of something else to test. Very frustrating as not worked for a while.. I have been trying to get through to talk to someone about my package for a while and given up every time as waste of a day. Have old tv box/router that are slow and also app that hasn’t worked most of this year, paying a big amount each month for a second rate service, all round nightmare.

Thanks, do let us know if you can test it on another device. 

In regards to the package I'm afraid we can't make changes to that from here, but I can have a look at the issues you're having with the equipment. 

Do you know what speeds you should be getting compared to what you're actually getting?

Tried another device and still same message. This time Dell laptop. Looks like it’s an issue with my account as tried on many devices now and not just Apple.

Really want it sorted out as pointless paying the money I do and it not working properly.

Will have a look at speeds when I am home.
