Virgin 360 (A con?)

On our wavelength

I recieved my Virgin 360 handset today, so I set 360 up and was not getting what Virgin are offering, lies again.

"Get Virgin 360 VM says and you can stream to any room in your home yay!"

Bo**ocks. What has changed then...? Nothing in my view as I could stream in any room in the house anyway with the VM go app and my phone or tablet. I was under the asumtion that I could stream to every tv in my home from the 1 box. Isn't that what streaming is?

You can if stream in every room however you just have to rent extra V6 boxes from VM! so what was the point of offering this service to me, What a waste of my time.

Also whilst looking for info on VM 360 I saw that for £33 a month tou can have 200mbps broadband! It was only last week I renewed my contract and there was only 100mbps for me for the same money. I can't wait until the other providers catch up, this is the 3fd time VN has [REMOVED] me over!

Hi leecool

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

Sorry to hear of the confusion over the new 360 box, yes it's correct you can do this but you'll also need to have another box with us to do so, rather than just streaming to any TV per se. Relating the pricing, I appreciate the frustration on this, all offers are changing constantly, this is the nature of how the business works.

Other than the above Streaming, how are you finding the 360 upgrade? Let us know if you need further assistance.

Best,

I live in a small flat and just use an HDMI splitter box from Blake UK and HDMI cables to connect my two TVs to the one TV360 box and that works perfectly at a minimal one-off cost. I've read of people using wireless HDMI splitter devices but can't comment on that - the cabled arrangement suits me fine and was cheap enough.
