VIRGIN GO

Hi

Why does Virgin Go go down so often.  Every day when trying to view a programme I get the message "Sorry can't show this at the moment".

Very poor service from Virgin Media.

My contract for services (TV, Broadband & Phone)  is coming to an end and I am seriously thinking of moving.

Re: VIRGIN GO

Hey js2910,

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your TV go application.

Have you been able to get this looked into further by the team, if not I would be happy to help get this looked into further for you.

Does this happen on certain channels such as all Sky channels or across all channels?

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, since the issues started?

Regards

Steven_L

Re: VIRGIN GO

Hi Steven

Thanks for your response.

1. I have not reported this.

2. Across all channels. I don't have Sky channels.

3. I am not techy and have not uninstalled/ reinstalled the app nor do I want to.

The problem is not confined to TV Go.

Once or twice a day my broadband goes down for a few minutes which is annoying particularly if you are in the middle of an online transaction.  However it usually comes back up within a few minutes. I'm not so unhappy with this although it would be better if the service was more stable and robust.

Re: VIRGIN GO

Please could you try to uninstall and reinstall the app, this can often fix the problem that you're having with the app. Alternatively could you clear the cache of the app instead of removing it from your device. What device are you using to view the TV go app? I can advise you on how to do this, if you're unsure.

I have looked into your account and cannot see anything that would be causing issues with your connection at the moment. Does this happen everyday at the same time or at different times during the day? Have you rebooted the hub since the issues started?

Regards

Re: VIRGIN GO

Hi

For some reason your email response of 4/11 just turned up in my junk email.

I am using a PC with Windows 10 to view Virgin Go.

A few days ago the hub was rebooted automatically by Virgin following a fault in the local area which affected a lot of customers and Virgin Go and Broadband seems to be more stable now.

I'll continue to monitor.

Thanks.

Re: VIRGIN GO

Typical Virgin Go.

Right in the middle of the Scotland football game  Virgin Go goes down  "Sorry we can't play this at the moment".

What a rubbish customer service from Virgin!!
