I had tv on the go on my iPad, no problem up until last week when it stopped working and told me to upgrade, it came back not compatible with this device, I tried reinstalling it but it still comes back not compatible.... help
Make sure automatic updates are turned on by swiping the button to the right so it's green.
Start the Settings app.
Tap "General," and then tap "Software Update."
It may be that the iPad is running on the latest it can Apple did some changes in the iPad software that will only update to a later version if it is compatible.
Virginmedia do update the Apps on a regular basis to fall in line with Apples requirements, Apples newer software now only runs on 64bit capable hardware, have a look at https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT209574 to see if your iPad is compatible.
