TV control app doesn’t work. It says it can’t connect to the box. Three times today I have contacted Virgin Customer chat and three times they have abandoned chat without resolving issue. Shockingly bad customer service
Hi. When I try to record a programme I get a message saying “the app is having trouble communicating with your virgin tv box”. It shouldn’t have a problem as I checked all the settings when I set it up last month
Virgin C/S agents can restart your box remotely if you call them and it's part of their diagnostics, yes.
Is your V6 set to Eco power-saving? If so, that doesn't allow remote app access and you'll need to use Connected low-power option instead. You can check this under Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Power saving.
