TV on the go app

Noticed that my virgin tv on the go app has stopped working on all of my devices, asking me to sign in then Ooops something went wrong comes up, any ideas?

I have uninstalled then reinstalled but no different

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community. I'm sorry that you've been having some difficulties when signing into the TV GO app.

 

Do you get this issue when you're signing into your My Virgin Media app or website?

My Thanks Beth for getting back to me,

I am able to sign in absolutely fine on both my virgin app and web site, the issue is only with TV on the go.

Hi Joe,

 

Thanks for confirming - can you please try resetting your password through My Virgin Media to see if that stops the log in error?

Hi Beth 

That seems to have worked out OK, strange that it happened in the first place, TV on the go app asked me to register the device to which I said yes, it shows that the app is already registered to 2 devices, how can that be?

When you say that two devices are registered, are they both show the same name or are they under different device names?

One of the devices is the same, the other is my telly tablet but I haven't tried logging on that just yet in case it asks me to RE register that as well.

Sometimes when you log in from the web browser and have cleared your cache and cookies, it will detect it as a new device and so it will appear twice under your registered devices list. However this usually doesn't happen when logging in via the app.
