Tonight I turned my computer on to watch the Europa League Final.Fired up Firefox, Selected my Virgin Tv Go page, it opened up and I'm faced with this message, so no footy for me tonight!
Firefox is up to date, latest version 78.10.1esr (64 bit) I'm on an iMac, I'm certain if I try another browser, I'll probably get locked out with five items registered as I did a while back.
Looks like no Champions League Final for me neither on Saturday! This TV app really sucks at the best of times
Hi @chaddy7604 thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.
I am sorry to hear your TV Go did not work in time to watch the Cup Final. Can you confirm if you know if it was working on any other devices?
I can confirm my son watched on his laptop, Windows 10 & Chrome browser with no issues.
I still have the same problem of an update request, I'm reluctant to use chrome as as this will probably be seen as another device, and screw up the 5 registered items, which is another issue
It's strange that it will open up as you can see behind the update message above, but it won't do anything else
I can check to see if there's any issues impacting TV Go with iMac. Do you mean chrome via your iMac? If so then that should not confuse things.
If I do install & open Chrome up on my iMac, this will immediately be seen by the app as another device, this I don't want as I don't use Chrome
It can only be an issue with Firefox, but I can't understand why it's asking for an update when I'm using the current version
The other problem is having five devices registered, is that you can't actually see what the five devices are, just what browsers they are registered too
At a push I'm going to have try another browser if this can't be resolved
Thanks for coming back to us,
I am glad to hear you have managed to resolve this
