TV on the Go App on iOS

Tuning in

Can anybody advise if this is possible.

I misplaced my Virgin 360 TV remote and thought I could use my iOS app as a remote.

Logged into the app and tried to connect to my 360 box. The app advised my 360 box is on standby and the app presented me with a power button to press to turn on the 360 box.

However, like a lot of things with VM360, it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions? I know I can physically press the button on the front of the unit to turn it on, but why walk 10 yards when I can do it remotely?

Hi flatfoot471,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with controlling your 360 box remotely. The TV Control app isn't compatible with the 360 box, this is for use with the V6 box. Usually you would use the TV Go app instead however there is no remote facility on there.

Have you been able to order a new remote control yet? If not, let us know and we can order one here for you.

Thanks,
