TV go not allowing me to watch stv following automatic update

Following an automatic update I cannot access STV as it says I need to upgrade my package. Was working fine before this

though i do get it on my Phone......and TV

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post. Sorry for the delay in response, we have been very busy and doing all we can to get to each customer ASAP. Have you since been able to access the App via the box at all, or is it still coming up that you'll need to upgrade?

Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear that you've been having similar issues with this feature. Can you advise what happens when you try to watch via TV Go? Are you still able to watch via the App now on the TV?

I have access to STV on my TV. I cannot access via the TV Go App on my mobile or tablet. When I set app to let me only see channels I can watch STV does not appear. If I set to see all channels STV is showing but there is no button to press to watch this.

STV is still not available on TV GO.

We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix. In the meantime, these programmes are available on the free STV Player app.

Hi, it's now 16th May 2021 and it's still not fixed. How hard is it to get a fix for this. It's okay saying that I can use the STVplayer, but why should I have to come out of the virgin tv go app and onto another app to view a certain channel when it's on the TV go app. There must be something that you can do to sort it.

Welcome back to our Community - sorry that you're having issues with watching one particular channel on our TVGo services. 

 

I understand that this was a known issue around 6 months ago but cannot see that you posted on this thread - I assure you it was investigated and after checking with the channel, we can confirm that it was removed due to licensing restrictions

You will only be able to view STV via their own app - I am sorry you missed the update on our main thread.
