TV controller app troubleshooting

I have downloaded the virgin media tv control app on my phone and everything worked perfectly however when I've downloaded the app on my kindle and it isnt working properly. The kindle has a message pop up that says "your streaming device has encountered a problem. Running streaming setup may fix the problem. Error code: E=41 V=4". When clicking on 'start setup' it runs but then comes up saying "set up did not complete properly".

What is it I need to do? 

I have reinstalled the app, rebooted the tivo box and so far nothing has made a difference, does anyone know of anything else I can try or does it simply not work on kindle?

I'm sorry for our delayed response and to hear you're encountering an error when using the TV Control App from your Kindle. 

 

The error usually error when you are using an older version of the app. I appreciate that you have already reinstalled the app, but can you please confirm what version of the app you're using?

 

Can you also please confirm whether your device software is up to date?
