TV Remote App

Hello, I have been trying to set-up the TV remote app but it fails on "Checking Activation Status". It basically just spins around for ages then eventually fails. I have given the app all the permissions it asked for. It is connected to my hub wifi. I have reboot the V6, hub and phone as well as reinstalled the app twice and nothing has worked. What could be the problem?

Sorry to understand that you're having some issues linking the TV Control app with your V6 box @Frownbake - not what we like to hear. 

 

Have you ever used the app before with this or another V6 or TiVo box? 

 

There are a few checks you can do at home to help resolve the issue - we have a dedicated page of troubleshooting issues with the app.
