TV Go issue - "Sorry, you appear to be out of your allowed region"

Hiya,

I've been using a VPN (ExpressVPN) for last few weeks. I have no issues watching TV online eg: BBC iplayer, Netflix's or Amazon prime etc. However i cant seem to watch Virgin TV GO. I sign into my account all ok but when i click on live TV i get a message saying"Sorry, you appear to be out of your allowed region". I've check various locations in U.K but still get same message. I have reset hub, re-installed, check and update VPN. Checked all windows 10 updates. Even tried different browsers but still no joy. To watch TV GO i have to disconnect from VPN then its fine. Is there anyway i can watch TV GO while using a VPN.

? Use a VPN that locates you in the UK, perhaps.

Yep i mostly use London. No joy on all UK locations i've tried

So just scrap the VPN.  Retorical question - why do you need to hide?

The reason for using a VPN on a streaming service is to give a false location.  So you are being blocked because you could be in the UK or Outer Mongolia.
