TV Go asking for upgrade to watch Sky Comedy show

I use TVGO via firefox browser and it now says i need to upgrade my package to watch Last Week Tonight With John Oliver on Sky Comedy boxsets. I have maxit TV package and TiVo but not 360. I have tried running firefox in private browsing and have reset firefox up to the point of deleting it and re-installing a fresh copy of the latest version with no luck. Also used a different browser. Same message each time. I have been able to access this in the past as recently as a couple of weeks ago.

TiVo vs 360 should be immaterial here, this is all about the package you're on - Maxit includes Boxsets so that's the box ticked.

I've just played S9 E3 (picked at random) of "last week tonight" on TV Go and it plays fine - are there any specific episodes you're having problems with?

All of them. 3, 4 and 5. All say I require upgrade. Same message on another random picked show from Sky Comedy. Same message on a random picked show from Sky Max. Same with Sky Cinema. I know 360 is a red herring but i mentioned it to stop the usual suspects piping up and muddying the waters. I try to keep an open mind but this seems to be an issue to VM tech support ref my account.

Welcome back to the community!
Sorry to hear your having issues with the TVGO app with the Sky comedy channel. Everything looks okay at our end with the channel/episodes you have mentioned. Do you get the same upgrade message when trying to watch the channel on your set top boxes?

Working on the TiVo. The other box has never worked but that's a different story for another day when I can be bothered. It's only box sets and movies on TV Go. Streaming is fine.

Thank you for confirming this, have you tried deleting the App and reinstalling it, does it do the same on a different device?

It's doing it via a browser. Not an App. See details above. It's all browsers I have access to. I have tried three so far and hence I will also want my device list resetting as I've reached the maximum of five devices.

So in summary i am accessing TV via: https://virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/en/movies-and-series/discover.html. If I wanted to watch on a tiny screen i wouldn't have bought a 43" 4K monitor. All channels and programmes on box sets/catch up are showing an 'upgrade' button rather than the 'play' button. I can watch streaming as normal. The TiVo does not have this issue it's just via the above url which i am used to using. I have an account with Maxit TV, sky sports and film. My internet is fine. I can't think of anything else. If you DM me I can provide my account details, verification etc.

I repeat that I will also want my device list resetting as I've reached the maximum of five devices.
