TV Go App saying i need to upgrade package

TV Go App has been working fine until last Friday when a message was displayed when I tried to watch live tv.  The message stated;

 

Upgrade

If you'd  like to watch this programme, please call us on 0800 052 0701 to upgrade your Virgin TV package.

I rang Virgin and was told all looked ok and I was on the correct package. App has been uninstalled and reinstalled but still get the error. This is happening on both Android devices I use, one tablet and one A40 phone. 

Please can someone assist as I'm paying for a Service that I can no longer use.

Hi Lufcnil,

if you click Check Service Status at the top of this page you will see it's an issue that VM are aware of and at the moment it has an SLA of tomorrow 8am. Please keep checking there for any updates.

My TV go app is also showing this error as we have the full VIP package

I assume customers who have been experiencing this issue in my area as it has been going on since monday the 29th of July to be given compensation because the fault has been affecting our service for more that 48 hours.

please confirm.

No chance of any compensation.

Your TV service has been available.

Virgin TV Go is a very small part of the service.

Once again the TV Go app isn't working.  Now being asked to sign in. When I select the sign in button I get the message "Sorry this isn't available. Oops the service isn't available at the moment. Try again in a few minutes."

The above has been happening since yesterday.

Hi.

I can confirm that I get the same error message when attempting to log in online. Also, I get the same error when I try to log in on other devices.  

I am not alone with this error, other people are also experiencing it so it's a wider issue.
