I am on the same home network and sat next to the V6 box! I can access My Shows, manage the recordings, even recover deleted recordings so I must be connected to the same network. Two iPhones and an iPad, streaming recordings not possible. Works perfectly for years, not now!

Not at all - those functions can all be done remotely. The only function reliant on being on the same network is in-home streaming,
Have you checked your router that both your V6 box and phone/tablet have an IP address in the same subnet? So 192.168.0.xyz where only the xyz differs.
