The TV Control App loads and connects to the V6 boxes but the tv control option and the streaming options fail with not connected to the same network. Currently using on iPad mini 2 iOS version 12.5.6. Any ideas.

Hi Nat,
I have removed the TV Control app and Virgin TV Go app and reloaded them I still get the same problem. I have to assume it is because I have an old iPad mini because when it loads TV Control app it reports that it is loading an older version. All other iPads and iPhones in the house work ok.
For some reason this version does not seem to pick up the IP address.
I did not understand what you meant by removing the app date.
Regards
john

Hi John
Thanks for coming back to us. It would appear it won't work due to the software on the device I'm afraid.
