Hello
My set up is as follows:
Superhub 3. Wifi turned off.
V6 Box connected to Superhub.
Google Wifi
iPhone iOS 14.7.1. iPhone connects to wifi on Google Wifi.
I have used the TV Control App before without issue, but connection was lost when I installed the Google Wifi. This is because the Google Wifi is using a different IP range to the Superhub/V6.
Question is, how do I change the IP address of the V6 so that it on the same network as the iPhone?

A few things in your post are ringing alarm bells and don't sound quite right.
To begin with, using TV Control to set & manage recordings remotely is just a matter of having a working 'net connection & your V6 not being in Eco power saving. I'm therefore presuming that you're trying to in-home stream, but can you clarify?
Then taking a few bits... you've mentioned WiFi on your SH is disabled, do you mean it's in modem mode? Because if so, all your devices need to be connecting to your router and not the SH. Where does Google come into your WiFi - do you mean a Nest router?
If you're asking how to stream recordings from your V6 on a mobile device, then all devices need to be on the same subnet as your V6. If your SH is in modem mode, and both the V6 & your devices are connected to your own router, this should happen as a matter of course.

I simply want to use TV control as a remote because the standard remote is temperamental. I am not streaming.
The SH is not in modem mode.
Wifi is provided by the Google Wifi Hub instead of the SH.
I have been resisting putting the SH into modem mode.

Do you have network remote control set as active in your V6 device settings?

I'm fairly sure that the "Network Remote Control" that Graham has mentioned is a different function to what you're trying to do - mine isn't enabled and I can use my mobile/tablets as remotes via TV Control... BUT I'm not using a Google Nest router, so all bets are off in terms of what "could be" the issue.
Are your mobile devices on the same subnet as your V6? That's fundamentally crucial for all "in-home" functions.

Agree with @japitts .
What are the local IP addresses of the V6 and device running the Virgin TV Control app?
