Sub account to watch TV

Have set up a sub account to allow a family member to watch TV Go.  The sub account allows log-in to Virgin Media, but the only service available is e-mail.  How do I enable the TV Go service for the sub account?

Re: Sub account to watch TV

You can't.  TV GO access is only available on the primary user account.

(There is currently an issue where some users are finding problems with the primary account access)

Re: Sub account to watch TV

You would need to log them in with the primary username and password.  Once signed in the  details are remembered for a reasonable time period, so frequent sign in isn't necessary.

Re: Sub account to watch TV

Thanks.  Seems a bit crazy though - in effect, I have to disclose my password to a third party...

Re: Sub account to watch TV

I agree it isn't ideal.

As long as you enter the login details for your family member you need not disclose your password to them.

Re: Sub account to watch TV

Hello @IEG,

Appreciate it's been a while but our Support Team has been tinkering and monitoring TVGO issues since you posted and wondered whether you're still having problems with it. Do let us know.

Thanks,

Lisa
