Sky Sports Device Management

I have three devices listed in my Sky Sports Device Management - one of which hasn't been used for years but I am unable to remove it (just receiving the attached error). I have tried both on my app and a laptop.

Speaking to technical support on the phone they thought the device might still be in use as they weren't able to remove the device either - but that's impossible. Is there any way to kick off / remove devices from my account?

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

Hi weewinnin,

Welcome to the Community Forums! I'm awfully sorry for our delayed response from here, and for the device issues you've been having on your TV GO account.

We are able to reset your device count from here, which would resolve the issue. If you'd like us to do that for you just let me know 🙂

Kind regards,

Beth

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

That would be fantastic if you could do that - thank you very much!

Hi weewinnin,

No problem! Your devices have been reset for you now - can you please check your TV GO account for me and let me know if you have any further issues from here?

Kind regards,

Beth

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

Hi there - the Virgin TV Go devices are reset but not the ones in the Sky Sports devices (the three are still there - the one called Dad's PC is the one causing the trouble).

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

Hi weewinnin,

Thanks for getting back to me.

It's strange how your Dad's PC is the one that's causing the issues, as we're also having trouble removing the device from our end. I have however been able to remove the other devices, so can you please go back and check if that's helped things?

Thanks,

Beth

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

The link is used is http://manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/skydevices

The Dad's PC is still there (and there's now a secondary issue that due to all the messing around I can't now re-register both devices again this month).

Is there any way just to completely reset it? (in a way that allows me to re-register the devices - although I assume we will be able to do that on March 1st anyway).

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

Hi crookyleeds1,

Are you also needing your devices reset? If so, reply to the PM I've sent to confirm your account details.

Cheers,

Corey C

Re: Sky Sports Device Management

I can still see the Dads PC on my Sky Sports devices list - there must be some way to remove it at your end (or reset everything entirely)?
