Hi,
I have just signed up to Virgin Media, and have a sky sports subscription. It's working on my Stream box, but when I log into the Sky Sports app using my Virgin Media credentials, and try and play one of the live sky sports channels, I get the following message - "Could not play channel. Your subscription doesn't allow you to watch this programme".
Could someone please provide some assistance.

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Sky Sports app, and this is not the experience which we want you to have.
Can you confirm if you are having issues watching all sports channels? Does removing and re-adding the app change anything and are you logging in with the primary email address?

Thanks a lot for replying.
All the sky sports channels in the live section on the "sky sports" app have padlock symbols over them, and when I try opening them I get the same message. I logged into the sky sports app by; 1) opening Virgin Media GO, 2) clicking sky sports channels and being redirected to "sky sports" app, 3) clicking on the "Virgin Media" symbol on the log in page, and logging in with my Virgin Media credentials (email address I signed up to Virgin Media with).
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the sky sports app, restarting my phone, logging in and out, etc. Don't seem to be able to get anything to work.

The Sky owned & operated app works off of a seperate database to Virgin's. It takes around 48 hours for the two to synchronise new customers details.
