I am also still waiting for a solution and surely can't be the only one? I was informed some time ago that Virgin were working on a fix but three months on still nothing. I'm trying to watch them on a Huawei M5 tablet.
After speaking to our mobile support team they have advised that when you go into the Huawei Media pad M5 settings and click on Mirrorshare there is no option to switch it off and that the scan will start immediately.
There appears to be no way to directly stop Mirrorshare being active or to stop the scanning process.
I understand what you are coming back with but surely Virgin should be able to find an app fix. We can't be the only ones with Huawei devices or this problem. I swopped from Sky to Virgin only to find out that I can't watch Sky movies on my tablet Android 9. Also when I try and watch movies on my Moto G5 Android 8.1.0 phone the Sky Cinema app only loads around 28 movies like the tablet and when it does play the film is jerky. Their wasn't a problem watching movies on Skygo on my Huawei M5 tablet or Moto G5 so surely a fix is out there somewhere?
I have a Huawei 10.5 M5 Tablet and have the exact same problems, I've done the uninstall reinstall saga, no joy, the Sky Cinema app used to work on this Tablet but now it doesn't so it must be fixable, please sort it out this has been going on for months.
