SkyGo is only available to customers that pay Sky directly and not available to other companies such as VM or BT.
You can see the apps available to VM on the following page https://www.virginmedia.com/help/services-support/apps
If you have either the older TIVO box or the V6 you can use the VM Connect app, and if you have either the 360 or Stream box you should use the TVGo app.
Those apps will allow you to watch most channels and programs in your package
Both apps have instructions in how to watch program via a browser on your laptop.

and scroll down and follow the instructions uner the How to watch Sky Sports on a browser section
