I’m having this exact same problem and have been through all the remedy steps but no success. TV control app is connected to my V6 box because I can see my recordings etc in the app but can’t use the remote control - same screens as last user.
please help!

I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with the TV Control app.
I'm not able to see any previous posts or images. Are you able to show screenshots of the problem?
Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app?

Hi Alex,
The problem I am having is that the TV Control App does not allow me to control the TV. It’s connected to my V6 box because I can see my recordings in the app but when I try to control the TV from the app I get this:
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, checked that my box doesn’t go into sleep mode, checked the box and app are on my network, but still no luck.
any help is appreciated.

Just tried on my iPad and exact same problem. it seems other people have also had this problem, do you know how they resolved it?
