Used to manage recording on ipad ( and PC ) when on holiday.

No holiday for 2 years due to Covid so have not needed it.

Generally could not watch recording, as in USA, but could go to listing and add

programs to My Planned Recording ( and cancel as well ). 

Check space used in my shows and delete recordings.

Because watched on USA television or running out of space in MY Planned Recordings.

No longer able to manage recordings.

Is your problem, that you can't watch recorded programmes away from home? Because if so, that's how TV Control/TV Go works - you need to be at home on the same network as your TV box, to stream recordings.

You've mentioned that you can set, cancel and delete recordings remotely - which is the supported function.

That is correct. Have TV GO downloaded but cannot find TV CONTROL to download.

I think I used Control to manage recordings.

Using windows on IPAD.

I can find this on My Virgin Media.

Virgin TV Go is compatible with iOS 9 and above, Android 4.0 and above and these web browsers on Windows (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11) and on Mac OS (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari). Virgin TV Control is compatible with iOS 9 and above, Android 4.1 and above and Fire OS 3.2.8 or later.

On Virgin Media App Store

Can find TV Go for IPAD but not for PC. I think it used to work on the PC, but maybe wrong.

Cannot find TV Control

TV Control is used for recording management on the TiVo/V6 platform.

TV Go does the same function on the TV360 platform, as well as live streaming for all customers.

The restriction on out-of-home streaming of recordings applies regardless. TiVo/V6 users can download some recordings at home, for offline viewing.

Cannot find Virgin TV Control download ( for ipad and V6 box )

Get to page describing GO and Control  trying to proceed get TV360

Found Control on apple app store with message not compatible with this device.

Search ' Virgin TV Control app '  goes to app store ( google)

but only find TV go , media and connect.

The following url lists all Virgin apps for IOS

As shown above the Virgin TV Control app is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

The latest version is 4.8.1 and requires iOS 13.0 or later

And this url goes directly to the google play store web browser to download the Virgin TV Control app (of course you can also open the play store app on your mobile/tablet to download the app instead).

did not work on ipad, however it did work on my chromebook

and does the job much quicker. 

Problem solved even if in an unexpected way.
