I have just installed the app and having same issue. Any item that is viewable on a device in the recorded listings, gives the same error message

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with watching recordings on the TV Go App, we'd love to best help with this.

Unfortunately, this is a known issue and our technical teams are working on a fix currently.
Please, bear with us while resolving the error for impacted customers and we'll be able to confirm once fixed.

Yes it seems that this is a known issue and unfortunately, it was decided not to fix it due to low impact and ongoing system updates as per the Development team. They hope that the issue will be resolved with upcoming system updates. However, they are unable to provide an estimated deadline for this.

If this is the case then why did Adri_G not say that instead of his complete none comment. Poor as ever
