Go app on amazon

Why is it the Amazon TV is included with virgin subscriptions but the Virgin TV Go app is not suitable to run on a Fire TV or fire stick ?

Re: Go app on amazon

Hi there @Tobyk

Welcome to our Community Forums and for your first post 🙂 We do hope that you enjoy being a member of our Community - please feel free to browse around and see if you are able to help or assist other members too; we encourage everyone to support each other!

You may also find it beneficial to take a look at our Getting Started section to get to know the Community and how it works 🙂

In regard to your query - we do not include the Amazon TV as part of our subscriptions but we do offer access to the Amazon Prime Video App on our V6 boxes.

All customers with an Amazon Prime subscription will have access to the app, regardless of which telly pack they’ve got. Customers will still manage their Prime subscription through their Amazon account.

The Amazon Prime Video App is not linked or related to any other Amazon products or devices.

Our TVGo service is only compatible with Android or iOs currently - we are sorry.

Re: Go app on amazon

1) amazon boxes run android

2) you have not answered the question

3) a company of your size should have a dept that deals with apps

4) it’s very poor that it doesn’t scale properly

Re: Go app on amazon

Hi there @Tobyk

Sorry if you feel we have not answered your question.

The answer is that we do not support Amazon Fire Devices for our TVGo app.

Not sure what you mean by having a department that deals with Apps? We of course have a technical team who develop our apps and we also have our agents who are able to assist with any issues you may have with any apps we supply.

Can you advise what you mean by it doesn't scale properly?

Cheers

Re: Go app on amazon

Hello @Tobyk we do not see any pictture I'm afraid.

Can you advise what font and design are out of scale? Are you talking a out our TVGo service or the Amazon Prime Video App via the V6 box?

Cheers

Re: Go app on amazon

Ah because the photos have to be less than 1mb , another useless idea as most camera phones are more than 1 Meg , I’m using the go app on Android fire tv box

Re: Go app on amazon

Thanks for your reply @Tobyk

As we have mentioned, the TVGO is not compatible with Amazon Fire so this maybe the reason it is not showing correctly.

Cheers
