Device change limit reached

I have not changed a device. I think clearing history (and other stuff) from a browser counts as a device change. How do I get this reset? Who do I call? What's the number? Will anyone answer? (not for 20 minutes anyway)

Re: Device change limit reached

Gareth,

Not sure what you mean by "cancel". Devices are listed and I can change them in 15 days.

BTW - the issue was with BT sports via TV anywhere not SKY. I have long since given up any hope of watching SKY on Virgin TV anywhere

Hi malcolmP,

What Sky channels are you trying to watch?

Re: Device change limit reached

Sky sports only - I tried a couple of dozen times starting a year ago and gave up in the end.

I have to go to the pub to watch it

Re: Device change limit reached

Have you downloaded the Sky Sports App? As you would need this installed to watch Sky Sports.

Re: Device change limit reached

I have 2 device changes available for sky sports. The problem is with virgin media anywhere and BT sports.

It all works, but when changing a browser or clearing history it seems to count as a change of device.

Sky sports problem is the sky app - I have not tried it for a few moths - I gave up wasting my time

Re: Device change limit reached

Okay, you wouldn't be able to watch Sky Sports on the Virgin Media or BT app. This would need to be watched on the Sky Sports app.

Re: Device change limit reached

You misunderstand

I have skysports app for skysports - it doesn't work and has not since the update a year ago - there's loads of postings about this.

I watch BT sports on Virgin TV anywhere NOT the BT app. The problem is that a browser change counts as a device change and then I have to wait until the next month to get back on.

In the early days, a simple call to the call centre and they would reset the devices so I could get back on. I would be OK with that even.

Forget Skysports - I am likely to go direct to sky for that as I said I have given up there. Virgin have said it is a sky problem, nothing to do with them.
