Can't log in to virgingo app

Why can't i log in to my virgin tv app.I have uninstalled & reinstalled,but still no joy.

I'd welcome an answer on this one too. I select the Sign-in button and it does nothing!

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

It's disappointing to hear that you and Stumbler are both having this issue it's not what we like to hear. 

Can I ask what device you're using? 

Is it just the app that doesn't allow you to sign in, are you able to try another device or web browser?

Emma,

For my part, I am using the app on a Windows 10 PC. The app loads OK, but the "sign in" button does nothing.

On my Windows 10 laptop, the app works fine and I can sign in, which suggests it's a problem with my desktop machine.

Hi Emma,

I've done as much as I can. I've reinstalled the app many times. I've run the "Reset" procedure and the "Terminate".

It's got me foxed. There's no error on screen or in any logs.

I can log onto the Virgin Go webpage and access the channels that way, but I'm trying to access Sky Movies and I'm not sure whether that's still feasible on the Windows 10 PC platform.............

So on the same device, not using the app does the web browser work at all?

Emma,

The Web Browser App works fine. I logged myself off that App, just in case there was a conflict.

I can "skip" the sign-on on the downloaded app, but no channels are displayed.

Now, I can't even load the app. It just shows me the Virgin first page, thinks about it and then closes. I do have some error logs displayed that are created about the time that I try it. This may be totally unrelated, but I can send you a logfile if that would help.

Do you have any screen shots at all you could send as well as the logs? So how the button appears when it's not working?

Emma,

I uninstalled some Logitech Camera software, which might have had an influence on this. I've then rebooted. That has got rid of the application errors I was seeing.

I've had to reinstall the Virgin TV Go app as it refused to load at all! I now have two screenshots for you :-

This one which is displayed, once the app is loaded :-

And this one when I try to select the "Sign in" button and it "greys" out when selected and does nothing. The "Register" option is also u/s!

I can't see this helping much. 😞
