Can i watch BT/Sky Sports via Virgin Go abroad now?

Hi all, i have read conflicting info that i can/can't watch sports via the 'Go' app while abroad, possibly via a VPN, what are the facts?

Virgin TV Go and Sky Sports are UK only.

The ability to watch in EU countries stopped when we left the EU.
