Can I stream recordings from V6 box to a Samsung TV over my network???

Hi I have two V6 boxes on multiroom.  All great.  Can watch one box's recordings on the other box over my wired network.  Cool.

I just built a summer house and I want a Samsung TV in there.  Is there a way to watch the *recordings* on either of the two V6 boxes on an app in the summer house? Is that possible?  I get it that VM want me to have another V6 box and I accept I will not be able to watch live TV without another V6 box - it's watching the recordings on the existing box I want to do.

Thanks, Steve

You can’t do what you want. The Virgin Media app to achieve that is for mobile devices only and not available for smart TVs.

Thanks.

Thanks bonkers though....This is the 2020...  Why wouldn't they allow a customer to stream the recordings to a TV in this fashion from boxes they are paying rental for?  If you can stream to a mobile device app why not an app on a SmartTV?

They would lose revenue by reducing the number of MultiRoom boxes.

Why should you not pay a little more to access the full service on two TVs?

If they did what you want, prices would have to go up and single TV homes would bear the most cost.

Does any other TV provider allow what you want?
