Access to my shows on tv remote app on I Pad

I am unable to watch my recordings on my I pad via TV control app but I can on my android phone. I get an error ' Streaming not permitted. Out of home streaming is not permitted ' even though I am in the home. Previously I could watch so something has changed but I don't know what.

Sorry to hear about the issue you've been having here. We just need to confirm a few details if you don't mind so we have an idea of the situation. 

-Do you also have any issues when watching recordings on your TV box directly?

-Do you currently use a VPN or a mesh network?

-Is your box in Fast start or Active start mode at the moment?

-Have you deleted the app and re-installed?

I do not have a problem watching on my TV box directly or on my phone, it is just my I Pad. Previously, I could, but now I can't. I don't use a VPN. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I don't know what fast start or active start mode is.

Thank you @Larkinabout for checking these steps for us. Can I just check is the iPad connected to the WiFi in the home rather than on data or a hotspot at all?

Please can I just ask what shows you are trying to stream and catch up on?

Certain shows can only be watched back on ITV X for example. Thanks

I am watching shows I have recorded. I can watch them on my android phone but not my I pad. I could do previously. I can't work out what has changed.

Also what channels have they been recorded on?

I was able to watch them previously and channels such as BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, CH4, CH5 etc.

Thanks for confirming, just to check, do you have any internet security or anti virus set up?

If so, are you able to see if switching off web protection helps with this?
