50+ missing channels on Virgin TV Go?

Hi

Before I login I can see that the following channels are available on Virgin TV Go, however when I am logged in they disappear from the list:

  • ITV2 +1
  • ITVBe +1
  • Dave ja vu
  • Comedy Central +1
  • Paramount Network HD
  • Channel 5 +1
  • FOX +1
  • Challenge
  • Pick
  • Quest Red
  • TLC +1
  • ID +1
  • ITV3 +1
  • ITV4 +1
  • Sky Witness +1
  • Comedy Central Extra
  • 5USA +1
  • 5STAR +1
  • Sony Channel
  • W +1
  • Alibi +1
  • Gold +1
  • Yesterday +1
  • CBS Reality +1
  • Horror Channel +1
  • Sky Crime +1
  • Quest +1
  • DMAX +1
  • Blaze

All of these channels are included in my Virgin TV package and available on my V6 box, but not on Virgin TV Go.

This is likely down to the launch of the 360 box.

When you have a 360 box TV Go is both streaming and box management - rather than needing the separate TV Control app. So for 360 customers it will show channels you can't stream so you can set recordings on them.

Before you log in, the system doesn't know which customer you are so may be defaulting to the 360 channel list and include non-streaming channels.

Once you log in, the system does know which customer you are, and for TiVo / V6 customers change the listing to only the streaming channels.
