Enabling Web Safe on Guest Network Only?

BBIssues
On our wavelength

I see that you can create a guest network with Virgin Media.

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/how-to-set-up-a-guest-network

Can I then enable Web Safe on just that guest network and not the main one?

I don't want to enable Web Safe on the main one as it doesn't allow VPNs but I need to use a VPN.

But if I could create a guest network, then make my kids' devices connect to that, and enable Web Safe, they would be "protected".

Would it work?

Is Web Safe any good? What does it block?

Hi @BBIssues

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first posts.

We are glad to hear you are interested in our web safe feature. You can find all you need to know here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/web-safe. Unfortunately, the changes for websafe are applied to your entire network, therefore you would not be able to apply it only on the guest network.

Please let us know if you need any further help and we will be happy to assist.

Thanks,
