Cant turn on websafe

Hi,

first time trying to turn on websafe but cant get it to accept when I press the turn on buttons.

This is the page I get sent to to turn on web safe: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/account-settings/security..

I get the error :

Sorry the changes you made were not saved, please try again.
 
I have searched threads on this and the page i get is the new format one.
 
When I try the link for the old format page I set redirected to this page https://www.virginmedia.com/help/security/virgin-media-internet-security.. where it wants me to sign up to internet security by f safe. I dont want that, just simple web safe, but as I say cant get it to work.
 
This is the page I get when I try and turn on websafe, and the error is shown:

this is the old page link that I have tried that redirect as above: https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/onlinesecurity/websafe/settings..

also tried clearing cache, cookies etc and incognito mode, and differant browsers. Same result

Welcome to our Community Forums! Thank you for your first post and I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing some issues when it comes to changing your Web Safe settings!

I can understand how frustrating that can be. Have you tried to change your settings on a web browser, as well as the MyVirginMedia App?

Please let us know if you're able to amend your settings on a different device. If you still need support after this, I'll be more than happy to help. 🙂

I have tried on browsers please see my message above it states the details of browser attempts.

I installed the my virgin media app but cant find the setting for it on that,

I'm sorry that you've had no luck getting this sorted. We can certainly check this out for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information as we may need to manually activate it here.
