Virgin Stream turns my Sony 55A80J tv off!

Good evening everyone.

I'm having this strange problem where after about 20 minutes my stream box turns my TV off.

Its only started happening,I've done the reboot and a software update...but it still keeps happening.

Has anyone else had this issue at all?

And did you find I fix?

Hi @Scotty-72 thanks for your post here in the Community although we're sorry to hear of the concerns you've raised here.

That is very strange, usually there shouldn't be a link from the Stream box causing your TV to turn off, has this been resolved for you since your post over the weekend?

Unfortunately it's still doing it,been through all the settings but to no avail.

Hi @Scotty-72 

How did you perform the software update?

It's part of the reboot process the box will do a soft reboot then update the software.

Hi @Scotty-72, thank you for your posts.

Do you have any other TVs in the property to which you could connect the Stream box and test if the same thing is happening?

Hi Daniel,yes I have another 2 tvs in the house,will try them.

The stream box is getting rather warm to.

Is this normal?

Is the box well ventilated?
