Noticed what I thought was 360 box Dolby bug is back with revenge via Stream.
My viewing habits means I notice dropped DD when switching channel or using live pause.
Is the only solution another few months of manually switching from 'follow content' to 5.1 then 'follow content'
to ensure DD audio is working again.
Is it possibly a bug of Philips Soundbar.
p.s. added BT Sports tonight in 2 mins enjoy lower league late season battles
thanks

Found DD works fine via Soundbox.
I've since swapped HDMI cables from bedroom to L/room.No more DD drops via Phillips Soundbar using 2 ex VM Minibox HDMI cables.
Slightly disappointed that the fault could be with one of two high speed hdmi's I had purchased for tech items such as ps5/ap4ktv.
Thanks

Hey Donfor40, thanks for reaching out on our help forums.
Sorry to hear of the issue with Dolby Digital 5.1 not being defaulted each time you select this on our Stream box and you keep having to go through this option on the menu.
We'd love to best assist with this, can you please advise if this has been the case since you've installed Stream or has it occurred recently?
Have you noticed any error codes or messages coming up on the screen when this is present?
Also, do you experience issues with all programmes audio settings like when on catch up and on demand too, or only on live broadcasting channels?
Based on the info you've shared above, we can confirm the sound should not be an issue as the Stream box supports DD 5.1 in general.
However, upon latest checks we found that there is an outage in your area currently that may have impacted the TV services for some customers in your post code.
This also prevents us from viewing and performing further diagnostics on your equipment as we cannot communicate with it due to this currently.
Our latest update is these faults will be all fixed by 9 May at 2pm and we'll then be able to perform further checks, in the event this area problem has been fixed and you're still getting issues with audio and DD.
You can visit our service status page for more updates here and pop us a new message here to let us know if the audio problems persist, we'll be eager to assist.

I'll need to re check catchup etc, No On Screen Errors.Philips Soundndbar displays Dolby at 1st, then doesn't it more often drops sound completley.
I thought this identical fault improved when those 'follow content' options were added during 360 s/ware update.
Though re occurring often recently, Toggling from follow content/5.1 returns Dolby Icon and DD Sound.
I appreciate DD is supported via VM Stream as is 5.1/Atmos via Philips soundbar

To add I've re checked Livd t.v -DD+sound drops via Live tv when changing channel.
Catchup/On Demand seem fine.
Ive tried Panasonic OLED HDMI settings from Auto to PCM to Dolby.
Each tv setting works for short time before DD drops and loss of sound from Stream/Ph Soundbar.
I'll rev try yet another HDMI cable, thanks for next weeks Fault status info.

Sound loss continues including Prime Citadel this morning, it Is happening on Apps.
I'm going to try Stream in bedroom with Soundbox as another DD Speaker.
